Legacy Red Birch is one our favorite floors. Red Birch is similar to American Cherry in grain, but leans slightly more towards gold in color. Shown here, Smoke Accent Colors turn knots and character marks into desireable features while Tung Oil enhances the deep reds and golds.

North American Cherry has long fascinated woodworkers with its beautiful silky texture and close smooth grain. When first installed as flooring it shows pastel shades of pink and amber, and with time, turns to rich auburn shades. Heartwood is light to dark reddish brown while sapwood is light brown to a light pinkish tone. American Cherry 26% softer then Red Oak and 17% more stable then Red Oak.

Legacy White Oak is a great floor for new homes or renovations. It blends well with existing trims, but still makes a strong statement. The time worn surface and natural characteristics bring on a feeling that there might be a story to tell.

White Oak has been a tradtional choice building wood since the colonial times. The tighter, older looking grain is perfect for restorations.

Heartwood ranges from light to dark brown while sapwood is a creamy white color. White Oak is 5% harder then Red Oak and 1% more stable then Red Oak.
